It’s been a long time that we have our lessons… So here are more of new words to learn

Weird = Aneh
Crazy = Gila
Stupid = Bodoh
Hard = Sukar

Rain = Hujan
Summer = Musim panas

After the holidays, there are quite a bunch of things happened that I could say unexpected in terms of professional aspects. I am now working for a different and new company which I feel really blessed that the New Year has started well for me. I’m in still in the same line of work but much better opportunities are in store for us. I feel both happiness and sadness with this sudden decision but I know that this will do me well. I hope that my blog mates will continue to follow me and visit my site even though I don’t update that much, the more now that I am concentrating in learning new things for my job. I will try my best to post more and hopefully pictures as well. I’m really happy and excited as I embark this new journey of my life.

Last Friday I was on a holiday but went to the office anyway because of Banchetto, it is an every Friday ritual when the clock strikes 12 midnight half the street of Emerald in Ortigas is closed, caterers and non caterers set up food stalls for them to sell different foods from a full meal to pastries, Mexican to Italian and of course native Filipino food! I went with my friends Grace and Ron. We had a very nice meal! I enjoyed the Blue Marlin Steak… YUM! After a great meal I stayed a couple of hours more just to be with some other friends in the office and since it’s Friday not too much work for them so we get to chit-chat. I went home around 5am since I still have to meet my friend JR Saturday morning for a little shopping spree in GreenHills and a basketball game in the afternoon, we joined this sort of basketball league along with other companies within the area just for a little extra-curricular activity but I’m just part of the audience… HEHEHEH! I felt great because again after a couple of months not going out it was the first! I get a chance to buy my mom what she has been asking me since September, I know I know! You may be thinking that I’m too lazy or whatever but I just don’t feel like going out alone, I like being with friends and enjoy sharing funny stuff. So we left for the game around 3pm as we still have to drop by the office to pick up Rye and Meg. I really enjoyed watching the game, Meg and I really pissed off the other team… HAHAHAHA! Even with just the two of us cheering, as if there’s a group… You can really hear our voices distracting the other players, and even our own team-mates were laughing at us and told us that we were crazy. It did pay off as they won the game! Yippee! I’m looking forward for another enjoyable weekend! =)

I was thinking of what to share with you guys since last night and just this morning I came up with telling a story. HEHEHE… As I mentioned yesterday we have a Halloween party and supposedly all should wear costumes. So one of my officemate just came in for the morning duty, I saw him that he doesn’t have anything unusual with him so I asked, here’s how the conversation goes:

Me: Ei …. You’re not wearing any costume for today?
Badingky Winky: No.
Me: They said that if you’re not going to then you have to pay the fine of 200 bucks.
Badingky Winky: F*ck Them!
Me: …….
Badingky Winky: I don’t give a d*mn!
Me: ……
*End of conversation*

After his reaction, we all stayed quiet for a few minutes, even the sound of the keyboards as you type suddenly stopped. And then my friend sent me an instant message saying that he’s just like that because there’s no other people especially the managers can hear him but he doesn’t really have the guts to say it up front. I just thought of the word “sinto-sinto” it is one of the common terms pertaining to craziness or any kind of mental disability. That’s the word for today! AHAHAHA…

So tired because I wasn’t able to sleep yesterday before coming to work, I thought that things would be alright but turned out to be more stressful. Heard from him already and suddenly my brain stopped functioning and honestly right now I don’t know what to say to him. Just wanted to release what’s inside me right now. I want to burst into tears but I can’t because I should not allow myself to be once again hurt by the same people who never consider me human.

It is really unnoticeably time flies so fast, the holidays are near people are planning on what and where to buy presents. Having said this, it is expected that different stores are holding midnight sales or large discounts are offered by those big department stores. During this season most establishments are packed with moms, dads, aunts, uncle, etc. who are buying stuff for their loved ones which of course causes traffic to be horribly annoying and time consuming, that is why we unintentionally forget some stuff because we are busy ranting on the road blocked by all kinds of vehicles on their way to the stores. These are few of the reasons why we should be thankful for having the Internet. It gives us access to online stores not only locally but across the globe in the comfort of our home. We can purchase almost everything without us having to go through the difficulty of passing jammed roads, long hours of waiting for you to get a parking slot and most of all crowded corners of shopping centers from toys, books, electronic gadgets, kids’ clothes and so on. I know what you are thinking, buying clothes online? Are you serious? Of course! When you’re buying clothes for your kids especially for girls, we tend to be meticulous, why won’t we? And questions are raised, we need to know what it’s for, will it fit and most of all, the budget! And yes, an Online Shopping site should be of assistance. With this, a very useful link comes to mind as you can find everything here, from casual clothes, dress, ski wears, hats, socks, scarves, footwear that varies from athletic to formal even slippers and a whole lot more. It helps us find stuff according to our taste and needs. Furthermore, we can compare prices as it relinquish us plenty of rope.

The more I don’t get to update my blog because my PC died on me 2 weeks ago. I came home on a weekend and thought that I will be able to update my blog and perhaps do some task for my earnings but the moment I turned it on, after a few minutes it gave me a blue screen and thought that I just had to uninstall the software I then installed for my phone but it was not it… After a couple of attempts to make it work suddenly it won’t give me any display. I really thought it was just the power supply not giving enough power and never thought that it could be the motherboard. I called up Acer’s service center and asked for the prices and I was really shocked with the price of the board being Php 8,000, to think that with that price I can already have a quad core PC. So instead of taking my chances that they will consider it to be covered by the warranty I decided to just replace it with better components but less the price! This month is really full of unnecessary expenses and stressed. I don’t know if I should be proud and happy that by the end of the month I will be handling the team as senior. All of my friends at work will be transferring to a different schedule for a technical training, specially my closest friend, so there will be no more mall trips after shifts, no chit chats during shifts making fun of each other… I’m going to miss them all! I wish that I’m with them in that training, I prefer to learn than to be the shock absorber. *sigh* btw, I planned of buying a dog, Shih Tzu. I found a new born in Philippine Pet Finder she is so cute… I already spoke with the breeder and she already reserved one female pup for me! Well, I guess that’s it for now and hopefully my PC will be up next week as I need to still look for better parts to replace it!

Health Care benefits are really important nowadays and we should really be careful to what we are looking for in terms of insurance. The government should really be looking into this as well to avoid scammers!

I have a lot of things to care about right now and sometimes I get tired of thinking which one to prioritize but of course at the end of the day we should set our goals and make sure that we get things done.

I would really love to grow my hair long but in my hectic schedule it is really not that advisable. And the longer the hair the more you use hair products to maintain a very beautiful and healthy hair. And most of all the most frequent you visit salons. Though I can’t stop imagining what would I look like having such long hair like those shampoo models. My short hair shows that I have a busy schedule but still maintains a quality, sophisticated look. LOL!
